Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of AlloyTrader. By creating an account or using the site, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use AlloyTrader.

1. What AlloyTrader is

AlloyTrader is an advertising platform that lets people list and find alloy wheels. We are not a party to any sale. Any agreement is made directly between the buyer and the seller. We don't own, inspect, store, deliver or guarantee any item listed.

2. Your account

• You must be at least 18 years old.
• Give accurate information and keep your password secure.
• You are responsible for all activity on your account.

3. Rules for sellers

• Only list wheels you own or are entitled to sell.
• Describe items honestly, including size, PCD, centre bore, offset, quantity and any cracks, welds, buckles, kerb damage or refurbishment.
• Use your own photos of the actual item.
• State a real price, and keep your ad's status (live, reserved, sold) up to date.
• Trade sellers must identify themselves as trade and comply with Irish consumer law.

4. Prohibited content

• Stolen, counterfeit or replica wheels sold as genuine.
• Items other than wheels, tyres and related parts, unless we allow them.
• Misleading, offensive or illegal content, spam or duplicate ads.
• Scams, requests for advance payment by untraceable methods, or attempts to collect other users' personal data.

We may remove any ad or suspend any account that breaks these rules, without notice.

5. Buyer safety and fitment

• Inspect wheels in person before paying where possible, and meet in a safe, public place.
• Never pay by untraceable methods to someone you haven't met.
• Check fitment (PCD, centre bore, offset, load rating) with a qualified fitter before use. Our fitment guide shows typical factory sizes only and is not a guarantee.
• Wheels with cracks, welds or buckles can be unsafe. Have used wheels checked by a professional.

6. Messages

Use messages only to discuss listings. Don't send spam, abuse or scam messages. We may review reported messages to keep the platform safe.

7. Your content

You keep ownership of what you post. You give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display, store and share it on AlloyTrader and in promoting your ads, for as long as it's on the site.

8. Liability

AlloyTrader is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we aren't liable for the condition, safety, legality or fitment of items listed, the accuracy of ads, or any loss arising from dealings between users. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer, or our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.

9. Fees

AlloyTrader is currently free to use. If we introduce paid features, we'll tell you about the price before you pay.

10. Ending your account

You can stop using AlloyTrader and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, and the Irish courts have jurisdiction.
